care guide
sterling silver loves being close to your body as rubbing against your skin provides a gentle yet effective polish. when not worn daily, it can slowly oxidize-some call this ‘tarnish’ and others ‘patina’. this is strictly on the surface and does not ruin the silver. in fact, it protects it.
to prevent the oxidizing, avoid:
- humidity (bathroom, sauna, swimming)
- salt, chlorine or sulfur (sweat, sea/pool water, perfume)
to care:
- store in a container
- use gentle soap and water for general cleaning
- gently rub with the polishing cloth, when time calls for a full revival
